Wuthering Heights
In case you were wondering, Wuthering Heights was unlike what I expected. I expected it to be some sort of romance, and it is, but I thought it would have satisfying romance, not frustrating romance. It's quite unlike any book I've ever read. The biggest surprise was finding that it was written first person by a man, even though the real author is a women. So far though, most of the book has been taken up by the man, Mr. Lockwood, retelling a story told him by the housekeeper of his new residence. I'm only half way through though mind. I keep expecting for the story to turn it's direction to what the man is gonna do about his new landlord and and the landlord's pretty, widowed daugter-in-law. It just keeps going on about the widowed daughter in laws mother and Heathcliff, the landlord. This is where the frustration comes in. They were in love, but both to proud until it was to late. I keep reading hoping for some satisfying romance to happen with Mr. Lockwood.

Books
I'm in the middle of reading Wuthering Heights. I'm going through it so much quicker than I thought I would. I keep expecting another story to start taking place, but I'm half way through and it hasn't started yet, so this way it has kept my attention. Rather sneaky of Emily Bronte, I must say. There are so many books I want to read, I've been feeling frantic to get them all read. I need to take a step back and realize how many I've already read; Austen's 6 main novels, Jane Eyre, Lord of the Rings, Anne of Green Gables (all 8 books), Little Women. Just a few of the books crossed off of my imaginary list. I want to read all of Charles Dickens books, Tom Sayer, Peter Pan, and pretty much everything ever written by L. M. Montgomery. Oh, and I need to finish reading the bible; I've read straight through to 1 Kings 7. Other authors whose books I want to read are by George Elliot (I found out is actually a lady) and George McDonald. Other than all these classic books, I would like to be able to play some classic piano pieces .
